Life simulator with photorealistic graphics Inzoi still will not be released in 2024 – release date announced in Steam Early Access

South Korean publisher Krafton (PUBG: Battlegrounds) was in no hurry to reveal the release date of its ambitious life simulator Inzoi, but at the end of October it assured that early access of the game would start in 2024. Plans, however, changed.

As reported by IGN, Inzoi producer and development manager Hyungjun Kim announced in an address to players on Discord that the simulator will start in early access on Steam only on March 28, 2025.

According to Kim, the reason for the postponement of Inzoi to 2025 was the numerous feedback on the temporary demo version of Inzoi: Character Studio (which included a character editor and was available from August 21 to 26) and data from several playtests of the game.

Kim compared Inzoi’s path to a full-fledged release to the period of growing up of a child who requires love and care for proper upbringing. The team plans to “grow” the game together with fans following its “birth” in Early Access.

«The change in release date reflects our desire to build the strongest possible foundation for Inzoi so that we can embark on this journey as prepared as possible,” Kim explained.

On behalf of the team, Kim apologized for the delay and promised that after the start of early access, Inzoi will continue to improve in order to ultimately “truly convey the essence of a life simulation.”

They promise a city simulation down to every resident, an editor rich in options, intuitive tools, realistic graphics on Unreal Engine 5 and post-release support for 20 years.
