No sooner had Mass Effect fans rejoiced that after the release of Dragon Age: The Veilguard did BioWare completely switch to a new game in their favorite series, they were faced with yet another disappointment.
Every year, November 7th (N7) is the unofficial day of the Mass Effect series. 2024 will be no exception, however, due to the recently released Dragon Age: The Veilguard, the celebration will be “quieter” than usual.
BioWare warned fans about this on its microblog: “There are only a few days left until N7, and this year it will be quieter due to the launch of [Dragon Age: The Veilguard]. However, be sure to come and have some fun!”
In recent years, on N7 Day, the developers have delighted fans with significant and not so significant teasers of the next Mass Effect (see the last video), but this time they will leave the community without it.
The new Mass Effect was confirmed back in 2020 and has not yet received a single full trailer. The game will offer photorealistic graphics and the adult tone familiar from the original trilogy.
As for Dragon Age: The Veilguard, the fantasy RPG is preparing to receive its first patch – it will be released before the end of the week and will bring with it bug fixes, minor balance changes, and also salvation from crashes.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard debuted on October 31 on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, EA App), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. The game received mixed reviews from journalists, although the average rating on review aggregators does not reflect this.
