While the medieval action role-playing game Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 from developers from the Czech Warhorse Studios is just preparing for release, the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance has reached a new sales peak.
Let us remember that the last time Warhorse Studios reported on the success of Kingdom Come: Deliverance was in February – by the sixth anniversary of the original release, sales of the game exceeded 6 million copies.
As it became known, to date, total sales of Kingdom Come: Deliverance have reached 8 million copies. In other words, 2 million more people bought the game in the last nine months.
Apparently, such a stir six years after the release was provoked by the sequel announced in April – Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will be released on February 11, 2025 on PC (Steam, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X and S.
Tomorrow, November 5, the development team will hold a special stream (starting at 20:00 Moscow time) with answers to fan questions and surprises, and on November 7, the first of four episodes of the mini-series with leading actors from the game will be released.
The events of Kingdom Come take place in Bohemia at the beginning of the 15th century. The main character Henry, the son of a blacksmith, finds himself drawn into the bloody whirlpool of the civil war. The game is distinguished by down-to-earthness, historical accuracy and realism.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance was released on February 13, 2018 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, and reached Nintendo Switch in March 2024. The game received five DLCs and earned high marks from ordinary users.
