Realme has introduced its new generation flagship smartphone in China – GT 7 Pro. The new product has a large and bright display, a productive single-chip Snapdragon 8 Elite platform with a powerful cooling system, and a capacious battery.
The smartphone features a 6.78-inch edge-curved 1.5K 8T LTPO Eco² OLED Plus display from Samsung Display with the industry’s highest continuous maximum brightness of 2000 cd/m2 and a peak brightness of 6000 cd/m2. The resolution is 2780 × 1264 pixels, the refresh rate can vary from 1 to 120 Hz, and PWM brightness control operates at up to 2600 Hz. There are HDR 10+ and Dolby Vision functions.
Realme GT 7 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with eight cores clocked at up to 4.3 GHz. There are 12 or 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage ranging from 256 GB to 1 TB. A dual cooling system with an evaporation chamber with an area of 11,480 mm2 is responsible for heat removal. Also noted is the Sky 2.0 communication system, and a two-way high- and low-frequency antenna of its own design, ensuring no delays in online games.
The smartphone is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera based on a Sony IMX906 sensor (1/1.56″, OIS and f/1.8), which is complemented by an 8-megapixel wide-angle module (f/2.2) and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera based on a Sony IMX882 sensor (1/ 1.95″) with a periscope lens with 3x zoom (f/2.65), which uses a proprietary AI Zoom Ultra Clarity feature that improves clarity when shooting close up. The hole in the screen houses a 16-megapixel front camera.
Realme GT 7 Pro runs Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0 on top. The manufacturer promises three major Android updates and four years of security updates. Dust and moisture protection comply with IP68+IP69 standards. There is support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
Of particular note is the huge 6,500 mAh battery with a silicon-carbon cathode, which the company says has an industry-high 10 percent silicon content. The smartphone comes with 120W fast charging that can charge you up to 50% in just 14 minutes. There is a proprietary power algorithm that ensures longevity for the battery.
Realme GT 7 Pro comes in Mars Orange, Star Trail Titanium and White colours. In China, the new product will go on sale from November 11 and will be offered at the following prices:
