Apple has announced a new warranty program for the iPhone 14 Plus. This decision is due to a problem due to which some copies of this smartphone model may not display an image when using the camera in preview mode.
«Apple has determined that the rear camera on a very small percentage of iPhone 14 Plus devices may not produce a preview image. Affected devices were manufactured between April 10, 2023 and April 28, 2024,” Apple said on its warranty program page.
Users experiencing this issue can visit the warranty program page to check if their iPhone 14 Plus qualifies (you will need to provide your serial number). For those who have already paid for camera repairs, Apple is ready to return the money spent. The iPhone 14 Plus warranty program itself will be valid for three years from the date of sale of the smartphone.
