Released on October 25, the shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 from Activision, Treyarch and Raven Software interrupted the three-week leadership of the fighting game Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero on the Steam sales chart.

«Mixed reviews (63% based on 3.8 thousand reviews) did not prevent Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 from topping both the paid and general charts. Buyers complain about overloaded servers, bugs and other technical problems, the dominance of cheaters and the inconvenience of the general launcher (like the latest releases in the series, the game is DLC for Call of Duty HQ). At the same time, the graphics, zombie mode and story campaign are praised – the latter is called the most exciting and varied in many years. There are no separate statistics on the number of simultaneous users for add-ons, but the audience of the new product can be judged by the online presence of the main game (on October 27, the figure soared to 306,460).

Other events on the chart:

  • Factory building simulator Factorio and the expansion Space Age, which sold more than 400 thousand units in the first week (reviews are still “extremely positive”, 96% based on 3.1 thousand reviews), soared eight and 11 positions, respectively, and the main game set a new online record of its own (118,674 people);
  • Thanks to discounts, the role-playing action game Hogwarts Legacy (-70% until the evening of November 4) and the arcade racing game Forza Horizon 4 returned to the top 10 (another promotion on the occasion of its imminent removal from the store has ended);
  • The second most successful new product was the fighting game Rivals of Aether II – the sequel to the indie hit from Aether Studios debuted at number ten, received “very positive” reviews (83% based on 1.4 thousand reviews) and attracted 11,765 concurrent users;

  • A remake of the turn-based tactics Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 from Koei Tecmo Games started at 12th position with “mixed” reviews (48% based on 1.3 thousand ratings) and a peak online of 18,948 players;
  • Platformer Sonic X Shadow Generations from Sonic Team, an expanded re-release of Sonic Generations with a campaign for Shadow the Hedgehog, was one line lower and attracted only 7,894 users at the same time, despite “extremely positive” reviews (97% based on 4.2 thousand reviews);

  • The high rating (89% based on 2.3 thousand reviews) did not help the early access roguelike action game Windblown from Motion Twin (developers of Dead Cells) – it only reached 16th place. Peak online: 10,179 people;

  • Also new to the chart were the role-playing game Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven from Square Enix (21st place), the cooperative horror action game No More Room in Hell 2 from Torn Banner Studios (29th), the role-playing game Ys X : Nordics from Nihon Falcom (39th), global military strategy Age of History 3 from Łukasz Jakowski (Łukasz Jakowski, 52nd) and the Abyssal Terrors addition to the roguelike action game Brotato (55th);
  • The re-release of Red Dead Redemption took 71st position, however, at the time the chart was formed, only pre-orders were taken into account (the release took place on the evening of October 29 – the game already has more than 800 reviews, 93% are positive);
  • Wayfinder, released from early access on October 21, by Airship Syndicate (authors of Ruined King: A League of Legends Story and Darksiders: Genesis) is ranked 49th. The MMO, criticized at launch, has turned into a single-player action role-playing game with co-op support and is now receiving positive reviews (84% based on 1.3 thousand ratings over the last 30 days).
