Publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment on the official PlayStation blog spoke about the games that will be included in the November selection for subscribers of the basic PlayStation Plus subscription rate.
The PS Plus headliner in November was the multiplayer social deduction game Death Note: Killer Within, which is an analogue of Among Us in the universe of the cult manga Death Note.
Death Note: Killer Within was announced for PC (Steam), PS4 and PS5 today, October 30, along with the reveal of the PlayStation Plus selection. The PS Plus distribution will include versions for both Sony consoles.
The second game in the upcoming PS Plus lineup is the otherworldly action game Ghostwire: Tokyo for PS5. It is noteworthy that the Tango Gameworks game was already part of PS Plus, but only in the library for PS Plus Extra and Premium (Deluxe) subscribers.
Finally, in November, the arcade racing game Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged, released last fall, will be distributed to subscribers of the basic PS Plus tariff. The game will be available to subscribers in versions for PS4 and PS5.
Reaction to the announcement of the selection was mixed. For example, some were happy about the addition of Ghostwire: Tokyo to the subscription, while others recalled Sony’s recent exclusion of the game from the Extra catalog.
The giveaway will begin on November 5 (you can activate October games until then) and will last until December 2. PS Plus Essential, Extra and Premium (Deluxe) subscribers will be able to add the listed projects to the library.
