Along with the flagship Xiaomi 15 series smartphones, Xiaomi introduced the advanced fitness tracker Xiaomi Band 9 Pro. It follows the same design language as its smaller sibling, the Band 9, but features an upgraded aluminum alloy case, a 2.2mm narrow four-sided ambidextrous bezel, and a quartet of new leather straps.
According to the manufacturer, Band 9 Pro is equipped with high-precision sensors with original Xiaomi heart rate tracking algorithms, which provide 98 percent accuracy of readings. The device also has an improved sleep monitoring algorithm that offers in-depth analytics and can track blood oxygen levels and monitor the wearer’s stress throughout the day.
Xiaomi Band 9 Pro runs the new HyperOS 2 software shell, has a more accurate satellite positioning system, more than 150 training modes, professional swimming and running analysis, 5 ATM water resistance and provides up to 21 days of battery life.
Technical characteristics of Xiaomi Band 9 Pro:
The Xiaomi Band 9 Pro version with a TPU strap costs 399 yuan ($56), while the version with a leather strap costs 449 yuan ($63). The fitness bracelet is already available in China at Xiaomi brand stores and other retail outlets.
