Along with the flagship Xiaomi 15 series smartphones and the Band 9 Pro fitness tracker, Xiaomi introduced the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro tablets in all-metal cases. The tablets are equipped with 11.2-inch LCD screens with 3K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. Xiaomi Pad 7 is powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip, while the Pro version is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3.
The tablet screens boast a Soft Light Edition anti-glare coating with a nano-texture and optical layer that Xiaomi says reduces unwanted glare by 99% and reduces reflectivity by 65%. Improved vision protection is claimed. According to the manufacturer, the matte texture of the screen when using the included stylus creates the feeling of working with paper.
The tablets run the Xiaomi HyperOS 2 software shell, support multitasking at the PC level, and are compatible with Apple office suites. Both devices offer their owners the services of a global intelligent assistant based on AI.
The tablets come with a new keyboard that offers smooth tilt adjustment from 0° to 124°. The 64-key keyboard is equipped with adaptive backlighting and a tactile touchpad.
