ViewSonic has introduced a series of portable gaming monitors, the Gaming VX54, which includes models with screen diagonals of 16 and 17 inches. The ViewSonic VX1654 16-inch portable gaming monitor is only 9.85 mm thick. Its weight is 700 grams. The new product is based on an IPS matrix with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels.

The 17-inch ViewSonic VX1754 model also uses an IPS matrix with Full HD resolution. The monitor weighs 900 grams and its thickness is 11 mm. Both new products use eight-bit (6 bit + FRC) panels.

For both monitors, the manufacturer claims support for AMD FreeSync image synchronization technology. The screens of the new products have a peak brightness of 250 cd/m2. They have a claimed 45% color gamut of the NTSC color space and 64% sRGB.

The monitors are equipped with two USB Type-C ports supporting 60 W power transmission, as well as one mini-HDMI and 3.5 mm audio output. In addition, the new products received a pair of speakers with a power of 0.8 W each and built-in stands with a tilt angle of up to 53 degrees. New items are supplied with a protective carrying case.

ViewSonic VX1654 and VX1754 portable gaming monitors will be available before the end of this month. However, the company did not specify the cost of the monitors.
