ADATA Technology has announced its first overclocked DDR5 RDIMMs under the XPG brand: the AICORE series products are designed for workstations focused on 3D rendering, AI applications and other resource-intensive tasks.
AICORE registered memory will be offered in DDR5-6400/7200/8000 versions. The capacity of the modules is 16 GB. The products are compatible with AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7000 and Ryzen Threadripper Pro 7000WX processors, as well as Intel Xeon Emerald Rapids and Xeon Sapphire Rapids chips. It talks about support for AMD Expo and Intel XMP 3.0 profiles. Two error correction technologies are implemented – On-die ECC and Side-band ECC, which, according to the developer, guarantees accurate and reliable data transmission.
The module contacts are coated with 30 microns gold, which improves conductivity, provides oxidation protection and increases durability. Graphene heatsinks are used that effectively remove heat, allowing the memory to operate stably under prolonged high loads. A real-time temperature monitoring sensor will be mentioned.
«Overclocked AICORE RDIMM memory is designed for high speed and stability, ideal for data-intensive processing, artificial intelligence, 3D rendering and graphics, video editing and multitasking,” says XPG. The products will be offered individually, as well as in sets of two pieces with a total capacity of 32 GB. Such sets will be available for sale in the first quarter of 2025.
