G.Skill has officially introduced sets of CUDIMM DRR5 Trident Z5 CK and CUDIMM DRR5 Trident Z5 CK RGB RAM modules, equipped with a built-in clock generator. The latter allows CUDIMMs to consistently operate at higher clock speeds compared to conventional UDIMMs.
New dual-channel CUDIMM DRR5 Trident Z5 CK and CUDIMM DRR5 Trident Z5 CK RGB RAM kits with a total capacity of 48 GB (2×24 GB) offer support for speeds from 8000 MT/s to 9600 MT/s and work with timings from CL40-48-48 to CL46-58-58.
The new products are designed specifically for use with Intel 800 series motherboards and the latest Core Ultra 200S processors.
The manufacturer reports that, especially for overclockers, it has prepared a set of CUDIMM DDR5-9000 RAM with a total capacity of 48 GB (2×24 GB), working with CL42-56-56-144 timings in Gear 2 mode. The efficiency of this memory set was demonstrated in conjunction with new flagship Core Ultra 9 285K processor and Asus ROG Maximus Z890 Apex motherboard.
Dual-channel CUDIMM DDR5 memory kit with speeds up to 9600 MT/s of the same capacity and CL46-58-58 timings in Gear 4 mode has been tested for compatibility and stability with the Core Ultra 7 265K processor and ASRock Z890 Taichi OCF motherboard.
G.Skill also demonstrated the potential to overclock the Trident Z5 CK CUDIMM DDR5 memory kit to 10,000 MT/s using conventional air cooling. Tests were conducted on Asus ROG Maximus Z890 Apex and ASRock Z890 Taichi OCF motherboards. The manufacturer published screenshots of testing RAM at this speed in the AIDA64 and Memtest stress tests.
G.Skill notes that Trident Z5 CK CUDIMM DDR5-9600 memory kits in versions without RGB backlighting and with backlighting are already on sale. The non-illuminated version is priced at $389.99, while the illuminated version costs $10 more. New items are available from the Newegg retailer. In the near future, the sales geography will be expanded.
