The SteamDB website has published a list of games that brought in the most revenue on Steam between October 15 and October 22. The leader for the third week in a row remains the 3D fighting game Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero from Spike Chunsoft, but the rest of the top 10 has changed noticeably.
Key events on the chart:
- Survival simulator DayZ returned to the chart – straight to fifth place – and updated its personal online record (78,937 people) thanks to the release of the Frostline add-on (ninth line), which received “mixed” reviews (69% based on 832 reviews);
- The release of the add-on also contributed to the growth in sales of the factory construction simulator Factorio. The 14th-place Space Age expansion, with “overwhelmingly positive” reviews (98% based on 2,200 reviews), helped the game set a new home concurrent user record of 91,801;
- New World: Aeternum, a completely redesigned version of the MMORPG from Amazon Games with an updated plot, cinematic cutscenes, more dynamic battles, a closer camera, improved training and new single-player content, started in seventh position. Online gaming has grown approximately tenfold (to 61,437 users), but recent reviews remain “mixed” (66% based on 2,313 reviews);
- Mech-action MechWarrior 5: Clans from Piranha Games debuted at 16th place with a rating of 75% based on 1.8 thousand reviews and a peak online of 5,600 people;
- In 24th position was baseball simulator Professional Baseball Spirits 2024–2025 from Konami (62% based on 378 reviews, 10,005 concurrent players);
- The adventure Neva from Nomada Studio (authors Gris) only came in 43rd place and at its peak attracted only 1,245 concurrent users, despite “extremely positive” reviews (95% based on 1.6 thousand reviews);
- The role-playing action game in the world of Celtic myths Drova – Forsaken Kin from Just2D also launched not very successfully (60th line, 2928 concurrent users), although the game also received high ratings (96% based on 804 reviews);
- Even lower (64th position) is the horror A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead from Stormind Games based on A Quiet Place. It has “generally positive” reviews (75% based on 505 reviews) and a peak concurrent player count of 1,071;
- Adventure Life is Strange: Double Exposure (68th place), which will be released on October 29, is already gathering an audience thanks to expanded access for pre-orders (best result – 1373, rating based on 671 reviews – 80%);
- Also new to the chart was the addition Airborne (76th position) to the World War II strategy Call to Arms – Gates of Hell: Ostfront, which thanks to it rose to 36th place and updated its online record (8919 people).
