Age of Mythology: Retold will soon send players to the “Arena of the Gods” – the release date of the “grand” new mode has been announced

Let us remind you that the authors announced plans to add Arena of the Gods to Age of Mythology: Retold even before the game’s release, but the release of the mode had to be postponed until the post-release period.

As it became known, a free update from Arena of the Gods will be released for Age of Mythology: Retold on November 7 this year. On the occasion of the announcement, the developers shared new details of the mode.

Arena of the Gods will offer the role of the legendary hero Castor (son of Arkantos) to undergo the tests of the gods in 35 “exciting missions.” You can forge your destiny either alone or in co-op with a friend.

They promise mythological wonders and dangers, divine blessings (powerful abilities) as rewards, and dynamic world conditions (gameplay modifiers).

«Step into the arena of the gods – take on the role of a hero, pass mythical trials, earn blessings and master your destiny in this grand adventure,” the developers urge.

Age of Mythology: Retold was released on September 4 on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, as well as Game Pass. The first expansion for the game is already in development – Immortal Pillars – with a new pantheon of gods.
