After several years of updates in financial reports, Finnish studio Remedy Entertainment finally fully presented the multiplayer branch of the action game Control as part of the Xbox Partner Preview presentation.

Formerly known by the codename Condor, the game is called FBC: Firebreak, as the January trade mark suggested. The project is a cooperative first-person shooter designed for three people.

Players will take on the role of fearless agents of the Federal Bureau of Control, sent to fend off paranormal threats in its volatile headquarters – the Oldest House (where Control was also set).

They promise modified items repurposed as tools, a progression system and unlockable content, post-release support, Remedy-style storytelling, and even more weirdness.

The release of FBC: Firebreak is expected in 2025 on PC (digital stores are not specified), Xbox Series X and S, as well as Game Pass. The announcement was accompanied by a gameplay trailer (attached above) and several screenshots (see gallery below).
