Although the developers from the Czech studio Bohemia Interactive confirmed plans for Arma 4 two years ago, however, as it turned out, the new part of the military tactical shooter is still very far from release.
The announcement of the tentative release date for Arma 4 was made during a two-hour music concert held on October 16, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Bohemia Interactive.
During the Czech State Symphony Orchestra’s performance of the theme song from Arma 4 (see video below), a frame flashed on the screen with the game’s release year – 2027.
Thus, fans will have to be patient. Arma 4 will be released a full 14 years later (if there are no additional ports) after Arma 3, which debuted in 2013.
In the comments to the recording of the concert, fans appreciated the quality of the music and expressed joy that Arma 4 finally had a tangible release date. “The challenge is open: live until 2027,” tomaszskowronski1406 tunes in.
Even more than two years after the official announcement, little is known about Arma 4. It is confirmed that the game will be based on the Enfusion Engine, which debuted in Arma Reforger.
The multiplayer open-world shooter, which left early access last fall, is positioned as a platform for testing Arma 4’s technology and mechanics.
