Firstly, “very, very soon” Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is expecting a major patch. It will add the promised “killer” difficulty level and the previously announced map for the PvE mode “Operations” on the planet Kadaku.

The new operation is called Termination and will pit players against the biggest threat from the Tyranids – the Biotitan Hierophant. The giant creature can be seen in the screenshot attached below.

Free updates for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 throughout the rest of this year and into 2025 will bring a neo-Volkite pistol, additional operations, PvP maps and a horde mode.

In addition to free content, Season Pass buyers will “soon” be treated to a Dark Angels themed pack, new weapon styles, armor pieces, and color schemes.

Previously, they also promised to add additional colors for helmet lenses, new melee weapons, a pyroblaster in PvE/PvP, customization of your character’s facial features and expanded customization options for Chaos Space Marines.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 was released on September 9 on PC (Steam, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. A day after the official release, total sales of the game on all platforms exceeded 2 million copies.
