Honor introduced Tablet GT Pro – 12.3-inch OLED, Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and large cooling system

In addition to the X60 and X60 Pro smartphones, Honor today introduced the Tablet GT Pro tablet in China. The new product is equipped with a 12.3-inch screen, a powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and a 10,050 mAh battery with support for 66 W fast charging.

The display of the Tablet GT Pro is built on an OLED matrix with a resolution of 3000 × 1920 pixels. The screen has a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a peak brightness of 1600 cd/m2. The brightness adjustment frequency using the PWM method is 4320 Hz. The device also received a four-speaker system with support for IMAX Enhanced sound enhancement technology.

The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip includes one Cortex-X4 core @ up to 3.0 GHz, four Cortex-A720 cores @ up to 2.8 GHz, three Cortex-A520 cores @ up to 2.0 GHz and Adreno 735 GPU. works in tandem with 8, 12 or 16 GB of RAM. The manufacturer offers 128, 256 or 512 GB of permanent memory for the new product.

Honor Tablet GT Pro is equipped with an advanced cooling system with a dispersion area of ​​40,000 mm2, which should ensure consistently high performance during long gaming sessions. The device runs Android 14 with the proprietary MagicOS 8.0 shell. The tablet also claims support for the Magic Pencil 3 electronic pen.

The new product has support for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3. The resolution of the rear camera is 13 megapixels. It can shoot video in 4K at 30 frames per second. On the front there is a 9-megapixel camera with the ability to shoot in 1080p at 30 frames per second.

Honor Tablet GT Pro will be available in Moon Shadow White, Star Black and GT Blue colors. The cost of the device starts at 2499 yuan ($350) for the version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. In the maximum configuration with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of permanent memory, the tablet is priced at 3,299 yuan ($465). Pre-orders in China are already being accepted, and sales will begin on October 22.
