Activision has revealed the final system requirements for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 – only 102 GB at release

There is only a week and a half left before the release of the ambitious military shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and publisher Activision and developers from Treyarch told what to expect from the PC version of the game and presented its trailer.

According to Activision, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 for PC was developed by Beenox studio in collaboration with Treyarch. The authors promise “advanced PC experience” and a wide range of options (more than 500 settings).

On PC, the game will support 4K resolution, ultra-wide monitors and AMD technologies – FSR 3.1 intelligent scaling with frame generation and Contrast Adaptive Sharpening (CAS).

In addition, the final system requirements of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 were revealed. If Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 took up more than 200 GB of storage space, the new game turned out to be twice as “lighter”:

Minimum requirements (the absolute minimum to run the game)

  • OS: Windows 10 (64 bit);
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-6600 or AMD Ryzen 5 1400;
  • Video card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 960, AMD Radeon RX 470 or Intel Arc A580;
  • Video memory: 2 GB;
  • RAM: 8 GB;
  • DirectX: 12;
  • SSD space: 102 GB.

Recommended requirements (high graphics settings and 60 fps “in most situations”)

  • OS: Windows 10, 11 (64 bit);
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-6700K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X;
  • Video: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti / RTX 3060 Video AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT;
  • Video memory: 8 GB;
  • RAM: 12 GB;
  • DirectX: 12;
  • SSD space: 102 GB.

«Ultra 4K” / competitive requirements (maximum settings in 4K / “competitive” settings and high frame rates)

  • OS: Windows 10, 11 (64 bit);
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 7 2700X;
  • Video card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 / RTX 4070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800XT;
  • Video memory: 10 GB;
  • RAM: 16 GB;
  • DirectX: 12;
  • SSD space: 102 GB.

Activision clarifies that the PC version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will require 102 GB of free space “at release.” In addition, additional space will be needed to install the battle royale Call of Duty: Warzone.

At launch, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will feature an explosive Gulf War story campaign, 16-map multiplayer, and a Zombies mode (again with rounds).

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be released on October 25 on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store, Battle.net), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Game Pass (Ultimate and PC Game Pass only). Pre-loading starts on October 21 at 19:00 Moscow time.
