Gigabyte announced a total of 17 board models. About a dozen of them are part of its signature Aorus series, including the flagship models Z890 Aorus Xtreme AI TOP, Z890 Aorus Master AI TOP and Z890 AI TOP. The list of new products has also been supplemented by the Gaming, Aero, Eagle and UD models.

Most new boards support Wi-Fi 7. At the time of publication of this text, the manufacturer did not add descriptions to all models. However, some new products offer support for Wi-Fi 6E instead of Wi-Fi 7.

In its press release, the company reports that new boards based on the Intel Z890 chipset are equipped with powerful VRM power subsystems with up to 21 phases. Older board models also offer support for high-speed DDR5 memory with frequencies up to 9500 MHz, which is achieved through Intel XMP overclocking profiles.

Gigabyte also confirmed that the Intel Core Ultra 200 (Arrow Lake-S) processors have a built-in AI engine (NPU). The motherboard manufacturer claims for its new solutions the presence of settings in the BIOS (NPU Overdrive), which can increase the performance of this NPU by 23% compared to the nominal.

Boards based on the Intel Z890 chipset are also characterized by the presence of two Thunderbolt 4 ports (USB-C with USB4 support, 40 Gbps). In addition, the older models of Gigabyte Z890 Aorus Xtreme AI TOP, Z890 Aorus Master AI TOP and Z890 AI TOP motherboards offer up to two 10-Gbit LAN network interfaces and two Thunderbolt 5. More detailed characteristics of the presented motherboards can be found on the Gigabyte website.

The company also announced that its motherboards based on the Intel Z890 chipset will go on sale by the end of October. The manufacturer did not specify the exact date. Arrow Lake-S chips are expected to go on sale starting October 24th.
