The head of Nvidia planned to speak at the opening of CES 2025 in January: are we waiting for the announcement of the GeForce RTX 50 series?

Three months later, at the opening of CES 2025, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang will announce new hardware and software. While the announcement is expected to be more related to new AI technologies, gamers should also keep an eye on this event as Nvidia could introduce a new generation of Blackwell series gaming graphics cards.

Nvidia will be exhibiting at CES 2025, which runs from January 7 to 10. The company even has its own pavilion planned for this event. The head of the company is going to give a presentation on January 6, the day before the start of the official part of the CES exhibition. It should be noted that Nvidia itself has not yet officially confirmed its presence at CES. This information was disclosed by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the organizer of the exhibition.

«The Consumer Technology Association (CTA), owner and organizer of CES, the world’s largest technology trade show, announces that Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang will speak at CES 2025. The show will be held in Las Vegas from January 7 to 10. Mr. Huang will speak on Monday, January 6 at 6:30 p.m. local time,” the organization said in a statement.

According to rumors, Nvidia is expected to announce a new generation of GeForce RTX 50-series gaming graphics cards at the upcoming CES, including the higher-end RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 models, and may release them later in the same month.

However, Nvidia usually organizes separate events for announcements of GeForce accelerators, and CES, as a rule, is not a place for such announcements. Historically, the company announces mobile video cards at CES.
