The leader of the chart for the second week in a row remains the football simulator EA Sports FC 25, the official premiere of which took place on September 27. Online games reached a new record (110,026 users), the number of reviews increased to 8 thousand, but the rating remained virtually unchanged (49%).
In the general chart, the best new product was the shareware MMORPG Throne and Liberty from NCSoft – the successor to Lineage, which was originally created as a new part of the series. “Mixed” reviews (55% based on 7.5 thousand reviews) are primarily related to long connection queues, server problems and other technical problems. At its peak, 326,377 people were in the game at the same time.
Other events on the chart:
- The top three included the pre-order of the action role-playing game Monster Hunter Wilds from Capcom, the premiere of which is expected in almost five months (February 28, 2025);
- Another unreleased game is the fighting game Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero from Spike Chunsoft (released October 10, 2024) was in seventh place;
- The global historical strategy Crusader Kings III immediately added 13 positions and became fifth thanks to the release of the Roads to Power add-on, which took 12th place and received “very positive” reviews (89% based on 1.4 thousand reviews);
- Fun Dog Studios’ dark-future co-op tactical shooter The Forever Winter, released in Early Access, debuted at number nine with “generally positive” reviews (74% based on 8.7K ratings) and a peak online count of 12,611 players;
-
- The meditative castle-building simulator Tiny Glade (new last week) rose from 34th to tenth position;
- Despite “very positive” reviews (90% based on 1.7 thousand reviews), the role-playing shooter Witchfire from The Astronauts (formerly an Epic Games Store exclusive) only reached 13th place and attracted 5042 users at the same time;
- The global strategy Ara: History Untold from Oxide Games, which includes former Civilization developers, only reached 38th place. Buyers note monotonous gameplay, undeveloped 4X elements and poor optimization (rating – 68% based on 933 ratings). The online peak was 4262 people;
- Also new to the chart were the early access cooperative roguelike action game with dark versions of the fairy-tale heroes Ravenswatch from Passtech Games (55th line) and the Keepers of the Stone add-on to the city-planning simulator Against the Storm (74th).
