Philips has released 27- and 31.5-inch curved gaming monitors of the Evnia 5000 series with QHD and 180 Hz

Philips has released two new gaming monitors from the Evnia 5000 series – the 27-inch Evnia 27M2C5501 and the 31.5-inch Evnia 32M2C5501. Both new products are built on fast curved VA matrices with a refresh rate of 180 Hz and a response speed of 0.5 ms. Both monitors also claim support for HDR10 and the presence of three-sided proprietary Ambiglow backlighting.

The presented monitors offer support for a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels. Both have a peak brightness of 300 cd/m2. The Evnia 27M2C5501 model has a contrast ratio of 5000:1, while the Evnia 32M2C5501 model has a contrast ratio of 3500:1. The radius of curvature of the displays is 1500R. The new products have 92–93 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The monitors also support the Smart MBR function, which increases image clarity in motion, and ShadowBoost with three levels of image brightness for dark scenes.

Both monitors received two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, and one 3.5 mm audio output. In addition, both are equipped with an ergonomic stand with the ability to adjust the height of the screen above the table, as well as its rotation and tilt angles.

Philips Evnia 27M2C5501 and Evnia 32M2C5501 monitors are already on sale. The manufacturer priced the 27-inch model at £219.99, and the 31.5-inch model at £259.99.
