Adobe releases Photoshop and Premiere Elements 2025 with advanced AI features and $90 price

Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements are lightweight versions of Adobe’s most popular image and video editing software that cost a fraction of the price of an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription. They now feature AI features that make it easier to correct, retouch, or turn photos and videos into works of visual art by resizing, cropping, adding audio, or incorporating animation.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 2025 adds photo editing features, including the ability to combine multiple images, change the color scheme, remove unwanted objects, or add depth of field blur using new AI technology.

With the new AI-based Remove and Object Removal Guided Edit tools, you can remove unwanted objects from your photos in one swipe.

To add realistic bokeh to your photo, simply use the AI-powered Depth Blur filter by simply selecting the focus point. You can adjust parameters such as blur intensity, focal length and focusing range.

The color of any object in a photo can be easily changed using a new AI tool. Simply select an object, change the tint and other parameters, and then apply the changes to the object.

Added quick actions to simulate motion effects with one mouse click. The user also has access to design elements such as animated sparkles, a blinking heart, or “live” frames.

Another new feature is the ability to combine multiple images, overlaying an object from one image onto the background of another and adding elements from other photos.

Editing in Premiere Elements 2025 is dramatically faster with a new and simplified timeline. The ability to see grouped video tracks and audio tracks makes navigation easier. There’s a new Quick Tools menu, and individual tracks can now be locked to prevent accidental editing.

A custom text style is now available in headings. Dynamic video titles now have more text controls. There are a set of pre-made templates that can be styled to suit the story using alignment, size, direction, color and spacing controls.

The new white balance tool ensures that clouds, snow and other white objects appear without color distortion. Precise color and brightness adjustments can now be made to a scene or even specific areas using new color correction curves.

The color gamut of videos can now be adjusted or transformed using presets. It is possible to import custom settings.

Now you can export videos to multiple destinations with one click. Video footage can be imported and navigated through clips using the new media browser. Using keyboard shortcuts significantly speeds up your workflow.

In addition to updating the Elements software packages, Adobe has also improved the companion web apps, which are currently in beta. Features are introduced to add moving overlays, automatically change the background, and customize the appearance of a photo before publishing it on social networks using QR codes.

The new photo editing and creation feature in the companion mobile app lets you decorate your images with fun shapes and patterns. There are settings for brightness, color and saturation effects. Images can be cropped and rotated, and the background can be removed with one click.

Apple Mac users will be pleased to hear that the latest versions of Photoshop and Premiere Elements now support the Apple M3 chip, delivering noticeable performance improvements when working on Mac computers.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 2025 and Adobe Premiere Elements 2025 are available now for the same price of $89.99. As a kit, both programs will cost significantly less – $129.99.
