Noctua has announced the release of a new series of NF-A14x25 G2 fans, which are successors to the popular NF-A12x25 fan models. The new fans are made in a standard size of 140 mm. The manufacturer calls them a flagship solution.
The new fans are made from Noctua Sterrox LCP (liquid-crystal polymer), which has high tensile strength, exceptionally low coefficient of thermal expansion and high dimensional stability. Its use made it possible to obtain a record-breaking small gap between the ends of the blades and the inside of the frame – only 0.7 mm, as a result of which leaks were significantly reduced.
According to Noctua, the NF-A14x25 G2 fans provide an all-in-one solution. They feature an optimized impeller shape to create more efficient airflow. They can be used with processor coolers, radiators, and also as case fans. The manufacturer claims a service life of more than 150 thousand hours for new products.
The new fans are available as a standard PWM version with a maximum operating speed of 1500 rpm, air flow up to 155.6 m3/h, static pressure up to 2.56 mm water. Art. and noise level up to 24.8 dBA; in the form of an ultra-quiet version of LS-PWM with operating speeds of up to 800 rpm, creating an air flow of up to 81.6 m3/h, static pressure of up to 0.71 mm water. Art. and noise level up to 11.4 dBA, and also as part of the Sx2-PP set of two NF-A14x25 G2 PWM fans (1500 rpm).
The manufacturer priced the NF-A14x25 G2 PWM (1500 rpm) and low-speed NF-A14x25 G2 LS-PWM (800 rpm) fan models at $39.90/€39.90, and the NF-A14x25 G2 PWM Sx2-PP fan kit at $76.90/€76.90.
