Samsung introduced the Galaxy S24 FE – an affordable flagship with 10-core Exynos 2400e, AI and a 6.7-inch screen

Samsung has introduced the Galaxy S24 FE smartphone, which is the affordable flagship of the South Korean company. Visually, the new product is almost no different from its predecessor. Key changes are related to the filling of the device.

The device received a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is powered by a 10-core Samsung Exynos 2400e processor, which includes one Cortex-X4 core with a frequency of 3.1 GHz, five Cortex-A720 cores with a frequency of 2.6 to 2.9 GHz, and four Cortex-A720 cores with a frequency of 2.6 to 2.9 GHz. A520 with a frequency of 2.0 GHz. The amount of RAM for all configurations is 8 GB. 128, 256 or 512 GB of permanent memory are offered.

On the front side of the device there is a 10-megapixel camera with f/2.4 optics and autofocus. The main camera block of the new product consists of a 50-megapixel main module with f/1.8 optics, Dual Pixel autofocus and an optical stabilizer, as well as a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera with f/2.2 optics and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with f/2.4 optics .

Samsung Galaxy S24 FE received a 4700 mAh battery, which is 200 mAh more than its predecessor. The Galaxy S24 FE measures 162 x 77.3 x 8.0 mm and weighs 213 grams. It is slightly thinner than last year’s model, but also slightly heavier.

The device also received IP68 protection against water and dust. The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE will be available in graphite, grey, blue and mint colors. The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE runs on the Android 14 operating system with the proprietary OneUI 6.1.1 shell with various Galaxy AI functions.

The Galaxy S24 FE will start at $649 for the 128GB version, while the model with double the internal memory will cost $709. That’s $50 more expensive than last year’s S23 FE.
