Xiaomi introduced the Redmi Watch 5 Lite smart watch. Unlike the Redmi Watch 5 Active smartwatch released last month, equipped with an IPS display, the new product has an AMOLED screen.
The screen diagonal of the Redmi Watch 5 Lite with support for Always-On Display (AOD) mode is 1.96 inches, the resolution is 502 × 410 pixels, and the peak brightness is 600 cd/m2. There are over 200 watch faces available, of which over 50 are customizable and over 30 are AOD-ready.
Smart watches provide heart rate monitoring, allow you to determine blood oxygen levels and stress levels. The device supports more than 150 sports modes for indoor and outdoor workouts. With 5 ATM water resistance, Redmi Watch 5 Lite allows you to track your progress in your swimming training. There is also GPS support, which helps you navigate the terrain while jogging.
Redmi Watch 5 Lite runs HyperOS, is compatible with smartphones running Android 6 or iOS 12 and above, and has emoji support. The device comes with the smart assistant Alexa. To connect to signal sources, the Bluetooth 5.3 wireless protocol is used. The smartwatch is equipped with a speaker and two microphones for environmental noise reduction using ENC technology, which ensures clear audibility when communicating through a connected smartphone.
Redmi Watch 5 Lite received a 470 mAh battery, which will provide up to 18 days of battery life with normal use and 12 days with intensive use.
The smartwatch is available in black and light gold colors, and the strap colors are Candy Pink, Mint Green and Lemon Yellow. The price of Redmi Watch 5 Lite is $50.
