A user from Turkey on the official Samsung technical support website reported that a wireless earphone from the South Korean manufacturer literally exploded in his girlfriend’s ear, leaving her deaf. The young man contacted the company’s service center, but they only apologized to him.
The author of the appeal is the owner of a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphone, so he decided to purchase wireless headphones from the company. His girlfriend volunteered to test them after purchase. However, during use, the earphone exploded in her right ear, causing the girl to permanently lose her hearing.
According to the authors of the message, a Samsung technical support representative in Turkey recommended contacting a service center. He came there, taking with him a burnt earphone and a doctor’s report, but the consultants, shocked by the situation, only apologized. It is noted that the proceedings on this issue have been going on for several months.
Other users in the comments advise the author to go to court along with the documents and demand appropriate compensation from the company. It is noted that the headphones themselves were not exposed to moisture or high temperatures, which was allegedly confirmed by Samsung service.
The author of one of the comments noted that the published photos show a burnt-out left earphone, although the message says that it exploded in the right ear. In one of the photos, the headphones are upside down in the case, so the burnt left one lies in the hole for the right one.

In response to this, the author of the post wrote that the victim actually mixed up her headphones when one of them exploded. He added that it was not the battery that was damaged, but the speaker, and Samsung representatives had already contacted him to provide support.
