Meta✴ is also expected to unveil the first version of its augmented reality glasses at the event and will talk about plans for other gadgets, including the Ray-Ban Meta✴ smart glasses, which were the first devices to receive support for an audio version of the Meta✴ AI chatbot last year.

Celebrity voice selection for Meta✴ AI will be available this week in the US and other English-speaking markets across the Meta✴ family of apps, including Facebook✴, Instagram✴ and WhatsApp.

The Meta✴ AI chatbot currently supports text chats and can generate images based on users’ requests. Last year, the company launched text-based versions of the chatbot with characters inspired by celebrities like Paris Hilton and Snoop Dogg, but the option doesn’t seem to have caught on with users. After this, Meta✴ began using the AI Studio product, which allows content authors on its platforms to create chatbot characters in the form of themselves.
