Sony has introduced two new gaming monitors – INZONE M10S and INZONE M9 II. Both models were developed with the participation of representatives of the professional esports club Fnatic.
The INZONE M10S is equipped with a 27-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels, a refresh rate of 480 Hz, support for 10-bit color depth and a peak brightness of 1300 cd/m2, which is achieved thanks to Micro Lens Array+ technology. The display also claims DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification.
Sony M10S is designed specifically for eSports tournaments. It supports a special display mode with an aspect ratio of 1:1 and a resolution of 1332 × 1332 pixels at a refresh rate of 480 Hz. This mode also supports 1080p resolution. The monitor has an FPS Pro+ mode, which improves image clarity in motion, for example in shooters like Valorant. Sony says this mode mimics the performance of TN panels, which continue to be the monitors of choice among eSports athletes.
INZONE M10S is equipped with a compact stand with a base diameter of 159 mm and a thickness of 4 mm, thereby not restricting the workspace of the table. The new product has DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1 connectors. The monitor costs $1099.
For those who are less focused on competitive gaming and prefer higher resolutions, Sony is ready to offer the INZONE M9 II 27-inch 4K IPS monitor with a 160Hz refresh rate. The display of the new product has a peak brightness of 750 cd/m2, 95% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space and is DisplayHDR 600 certified.
The INZONE M9 II also features a DisplayPort 2.1 connector, but comes with a cable certified for DisplayPort 1.4. The new product is advertised as an excellent solution for the PlayStation 5 game console. Both presented monitors support Nvidia G-Sync image synchronization technology.
The Sony INZONE M9 II monitor costs $799.
