Netgear today announced three new wireless routers from the Nighthawk line, made in identical cases: RS600, RS500 and RS200. All devices are already available for order: the manufacturer has priced the RS600 at $499, the RS500 is asking $399, and the RS200 can be purchased for $229.
The RS600 and RS500 are tri-band routers supporting 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz connections. Both devices provide 320 MHz channel bandwidth in the 6 GHz band, which ensures full support for the Wi-Fi 7 standard.
The RS600 is equipped with two 10-gigabit and three gigabit Ethernet ports. One 10-gigabit port is intended for connecting to an Internet provider, and the second is for organizing a high-speed segment of the internal network.
The RS500 has the same wired configuration, but instead of 10-Gigabit ports, it offers 2.5-Gbps ports.
The RS200 dual-band router does not support the 6 GHz band and is equipped with the same Ethernet ports as the RS500.
All three of Netgear’s new routers support Multi-Link Operation (MLO), which can provide Wi-Fi 7 devices with more stable connections with lower latency.
