Seasonic has released the PRIME PX-2200 2200 W power supply. The new product was first shown at Computex 2024 this summer.
The manufacturer claims that the PRIME PX-2200 complies with ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 power standards. The power supply is 80 Plus Platinum EU 230 V certified, indicating its high energy efficiency.
The PRIME PX-2200 is equipped with two 12V-2×6 power connectors for video cards. The power supply uses high-quality and reliable Japanese aluminum electrolytic capacitors, designed to operate at temperatures up to 105 °C. The power supply components are cooled by a 135mm fan.
The power supply has overvoltage protection (OVP), overpower protection (OPP), short circuit protection (SCP), undervoltage protection (UVP), overheating protection (OTP), and overcurrent protection (OCP).
The PRIME PX-2200 comes with a rich package: in the box the manufacturer placed a lot of power cables, cable holders, as well as a tester and bags for the power supply and cables. The manufacturer provides a 12-year warranty on the PSU.
Seasonic PRIME PX-2200 is already available in China. Sales of the new product in Europe and the rest of the world will begin before the end of this month, and it will appear in the United States in October. The cost of the power supply in Europe will be €579.90, in the rest of the world – $499.99.
