Valve’s digital distribution service Steam has updated its personal record for the number of simultaneously online users – the previous time this happened on August 25.
SteamDB suggests that on September 22 at approximately 17:00 Moscow time, the peak online Steam reached 38,367,277 people. At the same time, there were less than 12.3 million users in games, which does not reach the new record (12.5 million was at the end of August).
Let us remind you that on August 25, the peak online Steam for the first time exceeded 37 million people. According to many journalists, the release of Black Myth: Wukong greatly contributed to this. The action-RPG, even after a month, continues to remain in the list of the 15 most popular games according to SteamDB.
Steam has updated its record numbers for the number of gamers simultaneously logged in several times this year. At a minimum, this happened in August, July and several times in March.
