Following the full trailer in early September, streaming giant Netflix presented the exact release date (even three) for the second season of the animated series Arcane based on League of Legends.
Let us remember that the sequel to Arcane was officially confirmed shortly after the end of the first season (a little less than three years ago) and until recently was expected to premiere during November 2024.
As it became known, after the first season of Arcane, the second will also be released on Netflix in parts: the first act will be released on November 9, the second on the 16th, and the final third on the 23rd. Details of each chapter will be revealed later.
To mark the announcement, Netflix also showed a new clip from the second season of Arcane – a two-and-a-half minute clip entitled “Nothing to Lose” and showing Vi at a not so happy stage in her life.
Those who have been waiting for the long-awaited sequel to Arcane were delighted with the announcement and the new video: viewers appreciated the choice of musical accompaniment, the quality of animation and are looking forward to the emotional denouement.
With a teaser trailer in June, the creators of Arcane confirmed that the new season will be the last for the series. According to show co-creator Christian Linke, the project had a “very clear ending” from the very beginning.
Let us remember that the second season starts after Jinx’s attack on the council of Piltover, which could jeopardize the possibility of resolving the conflict with Zaun and reconciling with her sister Vi.
