In an open letter, Choi assured that the Round8 Studio team is working hard on the previously confirmed addition to Lies of P. Its release, according to a May report from publisher Neowiz, is scheduled for the second half of 2024.

Choi also showed new concept art for the upcoming addon (see image below) and posted a link to the Lisrim music track that can be heard in the expansion.

«In the case of the DLC for Lies of P and the sequel, we strive to surpass the successful elements of the game and improve those that did not turn out very well,” Choi outlined the team’s goals for the upcoming projects.

The ending (spoilers) clearly hinted that Lies of P would receive a sequel, and later Choi himself confirmed work on a sequel. Judging by Neowiz vacancies, the new game is being created on Unreal Engine 5 and will have an open world.

«Now we get to work again. When we return, we hope to turn your anticipation into delight. Thank you so much for joining us on this journey,” Choi concluded.

Lies of P was released on September 19, 2023 on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Game Pass. Within a month, sales exceeded 1 million copies, and the total audience of the project last spring exceeded 7 million people.
