The animated film The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep, announced by Netflix last fall, looks set to be delayed. This was reported by sources of the Redanian Intelligence portal.
Let us remind you that the official announcement of The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep took place at the November online festival Geeked Week 2023, where it was announced that the film would be released towards the end of 2024.
As reported by Redanian Intelligence, The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep has been in production for more than two years and is currently scheduled to premiere only on February 11, 2025.
Probably, the official announcement of the release date of The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep is just around the corner: the Geeked Week 2024 festival started yesterday, the main show of which is scheduled for September 19.
Sirens of the Deep will tell the story between the fifth and sixth episodes of the first season of Netflix’s The Witcher. In the story, Geralt of Rivia undertakes to investigate attacks in a coastal village, and ends up being drawn into a centuries-old conflict.
Yennefer and Buttercup are played by Anya Chalotra and Joey Batey from the series, and Geralt speaks in the voice of Doug Cockle, who voices the character in the English version of CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher games.
The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep is being produced by South Korean Studio Mir, known, among other things, for the animated film The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf for Netflix.
