Micron’s Crucial brand has expanded its Crucial P310 series of NVMe solid-state drives with full-size M.2 2280 models with PCIe 4.0 x4 interface. Previously, the manufacturer released an SSD in this series in the compact M.2 2230 form factor.
The Crucial P310 series includes models with a capacity of 500 GB, as well as 1 and 2 TB. For the 500 GB version, sequential read speeds of 6600 MB/s and sequential write speeds of 3500 MB/s are claimed. For 1 and 2 TB models, sequential read and write speeds are 7100 and 6000 MB/s, respectively.
Performance in random read and write operations for new products is stated to be up to 1 million and 1.2 million IOPS, respectively. For the Crucial P310 2280 Gen 4 NVMe drive with a capacity of 500 GB, a resource of 110 TBW (terabyte of overwritten information) is declared, and for models with a capacity of 1 and 2 TB – 220 and 440 TBW, respectively. All versions come with a five-year manufacturer’s warranty.
The company priced the junior SSD model with a capacity of 500 GB at $88.99, the 1 and 2 TB versions at $114.99 and $189.99, respectively. All new products are supplied without cooling radiators.
