Koss has unveiled the Porta Pro Wireless headphones, featuring the iconic 40-year-old Porta Pro design

Koss Corporation has unveiled a new generation of Koss Porta Pro Wireless headphones, which the company says “combine the legendary sound and iconic design of the Koss Porta Pro Classic headphones with the convenience and freedom of true wireless Bluetooth connectivity.” The release of the new model coincides with the 40th anniversary of the release of the original Koss Porta Pro, which set new standards in personal Hi-End audio.

In 1958, the American manufacturer for the first time offered high-quality sound lovers a radically new experience in listening to music using the revolutionary Stereophone SP/3 headphones, which allowed, in the words of company founder John C. Koss, to “recreate the excitement of a live musical performance.” ” Since then, Koss headphones have remained the recognized global standard for high-quality sound.

Completely redesigned, the next-generation Koss Porta Pro Wireless Bluetooth headphones are built on patented innovations, including an all-new dual steel headband that transmits audio signals without the need for traditional wires, while maintaining the iconic fit, aesthetics and sound of the Porta Pro.

«The new generation Koss Porta Pro Wireless Bluetooth headphones are surprisingly similar to the Porta Pro Classic. The team’s creativity allowed us to create new inventions, which we sought to protect by filing patent applications with the US Patent and Trademark Office,” said Michael J. Koss, Jr., vice president of marketing and products for Koss. “We are focused on maintaining the iconic sound, compactness, fit, comfort and performance of the Porta Pro Classic to celebrate their 40th anniversary.”

Koss Porta Pro Wireless also provide direct analog connection via the included adapter from USB Type-C to a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Integrated controls allow users to change tracks, answer calls, and adjust volume.
