AMD has released a preview version of the driver for Radeon video cards based on RDNA architectures. This is another pre-release, which may mean the company is facing a delay in releasing a stable version of the driver.
A new preview version of the AMD Software driver: Adrenalin Edition 24.20.11.01 is available for Windows 10 and Window 11 operating systems. It adds support for Frostpunk 2 and God of War: Ragnarok, as well as The Sims 4 update for DirectX 11.
The new driver also expands support for Radeon Boost technology. It now works with Final Fantasy XVI. In addition, the driver adds support for HYPR-RX technologies (FSR3 and Anti-Lag 2) for the games Black Myth: Wukong, Creatures of Ava, God of War: Ragnarok and automatic Anti-Lag 2 settings for Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut, as well as Fixes issues with Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. If you play these games, it’s definitely worth upgrading. Otherwise, it is better to wait for the official stable version of the driver to be released.
