The tiny NanoPi Zero2 single board computer is equipped with a 1GbE port and an M.2 connector

The FriendlyElec team, according to the CNX-Software resource, has expanded its range of single-board computers with the NanoPi Zero2 model: this is one of the most compact devices of this type on the market, combining a processor with Arm architecture and an OS based on the Linux kernel. The dimensions of the product are 45×45 mm, weight – 16.1 g.

The new product is based on the Rockchip RK3528A processor, which contains four Arm Cortex-A53 cores with a frequency of 2 GHz and an Arm Mali-450 graphics unit with support for OpenGL ES1.1, ES2.0, OpenVG 1.1. It can decode H265/H264 video in 4K format at 60 fps. Memory capacity LPDDR4/LPDDR4X – 1 or 2 GB.

The single board computer may be equipped with an eMMC chip; In addition, there is a slot for a microSD card. The equipment includes a 1GbE network adapter, and you can additionally install an M.2 Key-E 2230 (PCIe 2.1) module with support for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The set of connectors includes one USB 2.0 Type-A and USB 2.0 Type-C port (data and 5 V power), and an RJ-45 socket for a network cable. Debian 12 Core, Ubuntu 24.04, OpenMediaVault, FriendlyWrt (based on OpenWrt 21.05 or 23.05) with Linux 6.1 LTS kernel can be used. The price of NanoPi Zero2 with 1 GB of RAM is $18.
