At the IFA 2024 exhibition, Dreame presented the latest robot vacuum cleaner L40 Ultra and cordless washing vacuum cleaner H14 Pro. In addition, the manufacturer showed at its stand its latest products: robotic vacuum cleaners and cordless vacuum cleaners, the latest robotic lawn mower and even a robotic pool cleaner. In this material we will tell you about all this in more detail.
Let’s start with the main new product – the Dreame L40 Ultra robot vacuum cleaner, which the company calls the new flagship. The new product has retractable cloths (napkins) for wet cleaning and a retractable dust brush, which help clean along baseboards, at the edges of furniture and in other hard-to-reach places. By the way, the cloths for wet cleaning automatically rise when the vacuum cleaner hits the carpet.
The manufacturer also notes high suction power of up to 11,000 Pa – according to this indicator, the new product is slightly inferior to the X40 Ultra model, which has this indicator equal to 12 kPa. And the Tri-Cut Brush 2.0 used here has built-in blades to prevent hair from getting tangled. The Dreame L40 Ultra also features an obstacle recognition and avoidance system with a front camera and LED backlight, which recognizes more than 100 objects. The robot can also overcome thresholds up to 22 mm high.
The multifunctional base station Dreame L40 Ultra deserves special attention. It can remove and secure cloths for wet cleaning, wash them, dry them (up to 5 minutes at temperatures up to 65 ° C), empty the dust container of the robot vacuum cleaner, fill it with water and add detergent to the water to wash the cloths. In addition, the base station has an improved self-cleaning system for the washing base.
Dreame also showed at its stand the successor to the most popular robot vacuum cleaner L10s Ultra – the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen2 model. The suction power was increased to 10,000 Pa, the new product acquired retractable cloths for wet cleaning, an improved obstacle recognition function, and a system for raising wet brushes above the carpet. The new version also has a more advanced base station with a system for cleaning and drying napkins. In general, almost a flagship solution, but at a more affordable price.
Dreame did not miss the opportunity to show promising developments at IFA 2024. The company demonstrated a system that allows robotic vacuum cleaners to overcome thresholds and steps up to 4 cm high. On the outside of the drive wheels there are additional wheels that raise the front part of the robot by about 4 cm, thanks to which the device seems to jump onto heights or carefully descend from them.
Another important new Dreame product presented at IFA 2024 was the Dreame H14 Pro cordless wet-dry vacuum cleaner. It combines many useful functions: a vacuum cleaner for hard floors, a carpet vacuum cleaner, a compact handheld vacuum cleaner, and a vacuum cleaner for delicate surfaces.
The manufacturer equipped Dreame H14 Pro with a 400 W electric motor, providing suction power of 18,000 Pa. The new product has a clean water tank with a volume of 880 ml, and, importantly, the device supports automatic dosing of detergent. The design of the vacuum cleaner is very mobile – it can easily take a horizontal position, making it convenient to clean the floor under furniture: it can squeeze into cracks 9.8 cm high for the cleaning brush and 14 cm for the main body.
There is also a self-cleaning function of the brush, including the ability to clean with hot water at a temperature of 60 °C. After cleaning and cleaning, you can choose one of two modes for drying brushes with hot air: a fast 5-minute mode and a quiet mode lasting about an hour. The brush also has a mechanism with blades that prevents hair from getting tangled.
It is impossible not to mention the batteries, the capacity of which is 6 × 5000 mAh. Autonomy should be quite enough – the manufacturer claims 40 minutes of operation in wet cleaning mode and a full 75 minutes in vacuum cleaner mode. A full charge takes up to 4 hours.
Dreame also showed the latest robotic lawn mower, Roboticmover A2, which has an improved lawn edge mowing system – the robot moves the blades to the side, leaving no more than 5 cm of unmown grass at the edges. The new product also has increased productivity, as a result of which it is able to work on lawns up to 3000 m², as well as cope with steeper slopes – up to 26.5°. The navigation system was also updated to OmniSense 2.0. A new property protection feature has also been added – the robot can patrol the area and report unusual activity.
Finally, the Dreame Z1, an autonomous, wireless pool cleaning robot, was revealed. It has intelligent visual navigation and is capable of cleaning pools up to 200 m², and at the same time purifies water at a speed of up to 30 cubic meters. m/h. The device offers four operating modes: standard, floor, wall and waterline. Thus, it not only washes the walls and bottom of the pool, but also removes fallen leaves and dirt from the surface of the water.
