Publisher Electronic Arts and developers from Respawn Entertainment, as promised, have released another update with performance improvements for the PC version of their Jedi action game Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
The ninth major patch for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is mainly aimed at improving performance, as well as improving the technical aspects of the game on PC.
In particular, they promise to improve performance on different configurations, eliminate gameplay stutters that have arisen, optimize CPU usage when ray tracing, and fixes related to playing on a mouse.
In addition, the developers have improved the performance of the game file optimization screen, the functionality of the keyboard and mouse (in different menus and on the workbench), as well as eliminated a number of bugs and removed Denuvo protection from the game.
Very soon – September 17 – Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will reach PS4 and Xbox One. Electronic Arts has not shown a single frame from these versions of the game, but is already collecting pre-orders at a price of $50 ($80 for a set for two generations).
In the patch description, Respawn also noted that in the foreseeable future, an update will be released for the PS5 version of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor that will allow you to transfer saves between PS4 and PS5.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was released on April 28, 2023 on PC (Steam, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. At launch, the technical component left much to be desired, which did not prevent the project, according to EA, from attracting “millions of players.”
