The parade of content restored by modders in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt from CD Projekt Red continues. This time, the enthusiast returned to the game a deleted scene that was part of one of the main endings. Possible spoilers.

Let us remember that in one of the three main plot endings of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Ciri, who had eluded Geralt of Rivia throughout the game, not only remains alive, but also becomes a witcher after the White Wolf.
In the release version, the scene ends with the heroine receiving her own witcher sword and offering to try it out, but, as modder merigoldmaribor showed, the episode once had a continuation.
If Geralt does not have a romantic partner, the scene will end as usual
In the extended version of the scene, Geralt and Ciri are equipped in Ellander, the capital of the principality of the same name in Temeria east of Vizima, where the witcher is waiting for his love interest (Yennefer or Triss).
Opinions differ about the significance of the cut episode: GamesRadar journalists see it as a foundation for The Witcher 4, and IGN editors believe that Ellander is not suitable for a teaser for a new game, because he is only two days away, as Ciri notes.
It is worth noting that a mod with a restored scene from Ciri’s ending appeared in the Steam Workshop back in early August, and the day before merigoldmaribor uploaded it to the Nexus Mods site. This publication attracted the attention of the media.
