Honor introduced an additional variant of MagicBook Art 14 on the Snapdragon X Elite processor

At the IFA 2024 exhibition, Honor showed several interesting devices, including the MagicBook Art 14 laptop. As it turned out, the manufacturer decided not to limit itself to the version with an Intel processor and announced a version with a Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite chip.

The international version of this computer has not been previewed in China, and it likely has similar specifications, but tweaked by the Snapdragon X Elite – the chip promises higher power efficiency, longer battery life and more built-in AI features.

Honor MagicBook Art 14 boasts a 14.6-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 3120 × 2080 pixels, the weight of the laptop is only 1 kg, and the thickness is only 1 cm. This is “the lightest AI PC on the market,” Honor claims. And, of course, there is a removable webcam.

AI functions are used, in particular, to optimize certain background processors to improve performance and reduce energy consumption. The 14 most used Windows apps are optimized based on how you use them. There is a built-in tool for recognizing deepfakes.

Honor also talked about MagicRing technology to create a unified ecosystem: by connecting your phone, tablet and PC to it, you can use the same peripherals and applications on different platforms. You can receive messages and calls, share files and broadcast screen images from one device to another. The cost of Honor MagicBook Art 14 on the Snapdragon X Elite chip and the timing of its release have not been specified.
