TCL introduced the NxtPaper 14 tablet with a 14.3″ NxtPaper 3.0 screen and an updated TCL Tab 11 Gen 2 tablet

TCL presented at IFA 2024 in Berlin, in addition to the TCL 50 Pro Nxtpaper 5G and 50 Nxtpaper 5G smartphones, the NxtPaper 14 tablet with a 14.3-inch display and a massive battery, as well as the 11-inch TCL Tab 11 Gen 2 tablet.

An update to last year’s Tab 11, the TCL Tab 11 Gen 2 features an 11-inch NxtVision LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a 60Hz refresh rate. The screen aspect ratio is 16:10, brightness is 400 cd/m2. Thanks to thin 7mm wide bezels, the screen-to-panel ratio is 85%.

The tablet is built on a MediaTek Hello G80 processor with 6 GB of RAM and a 256 GB flash drive, the capacity of which can be expanded by 1 TB using a microSD memory card. The tablet is powered by an 8000 mAh battery with support for 18 W charging.

TCL Tab 11 Gen 2 specifications include a 5-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel main camera, as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS receiver and face unlock support. The TCL Tab 11 Gen 2 costs €199.

In turn, the NxtPaper 14 tablet received a 14.3-inch display with support for the latest NxtPaper 3.0 technology, which reduces the intensity of the blue light component harmful to the human eye by 61%, while maintaining image clarity and realistic color reproduction.

The display provides a resolution of 2400 x 1600 pixels and a brightness of up to 400 cd/m2. The screen refresh rate is 60 Hz, and there is also support for input using the TCL T-Pen stylus. The physical button lets you quickly switch between Regular, Color Paper, and Ink Paper modes.

The NxtPaper 14 uses a 6nm octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 processor coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of flash storage. On the back panel there is an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus, and on the front there are two cameras with 5-megapixel and 13-megapixel sensors, which are also used to unlock the device using Face Unlock technology, since the tablet does not have a fingerprint scanner.

TCL NxtPaper 14 runs Android 14. The device costs €399. The start of sales will be announced a little later.
