Honor introduced the Watch 5 smartwatch with a very familiar design and battery life of up to 15 days

The Honor company presented the Watch 5 smart watch at the IFA exhibition in Berlin. In terms of technical characteristics, the device largely repeats the previous Watch 4 model, but in appearance it has become more similar to the Apple Watch Series 9 – Honor not only made the design similar, but also equipped the smart watch with an offset from the center of the right side with a digital crown.

Honor Watch 5 weighs 35 grams. The device has 32 MB of RAM and 4 GB of permanent memory. Compared to its predecessor, equipped with a 1.75-inch display, the new Watch 5 has a larger AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 1.85 inches. The display supports a resolution of 450 × 390 pixels (322 PPI density).

The battery life of Watch 5 has been increased to 15 days, the device is equipped with a 480 mAh battery.

Honor Watch 5 received a more accurate GPS module. The new smartwatch model can perform a health check in a few seconds with “one click”: the watch will check your heart rate and blood oxygen saturation levels. In addition, Watch 5 can monitor sleep hygiene, stress levels, offers more than 300 preset watch faces, supports 85 sports modes and 12 professional training modes, and is also water resistant to 5 ATM.

The manufacturer did not say anything about the cost of Watch 5. The company also did not say when and in which countries the watch will go on sale, but the announcement at IFA hints at an international debut.
