Microsoft is ready to start selling Surface family devices based on Qualcomm Arm processors to corporate customers. Starting September 10, Surface Pro 11 and Surface Laptop 7 will be available to business users. Versions of the mentioned devices based on Snapdragon processors became available to consumers in June. Microsoft will also soon release 5G versions of the Surface Pro 11 and 10.
The hardware of the Surface Pro 11 and Surface Laptop 7 for business will be identical to what is offered to ordinary consumers. Customers will be able to choose between two main versions of Surface Pro 11. The younger one is equipped with a 10-core Snapdragon X Plus chip, as well as 16 GB of RAM, up to 512 GB of storage and a regular LCD display. A more advanced version boasts a 12-core Snapdragon X Elite chip, up to 32 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of ROM, as well as an OLED display.
Surface Laptop 7 will be available with Snapdragon X Plus and X Elite processors for the 13.8-inch version of the device and Snapdragon X Elite for the 15-inch model. Regardless of the version chosen, the laptop is equipped with up to 32 GB of RAM and a storage capacity of up to 1 TB.
In addition to this, on September 26, Microsoft will introduce 5G versions of the Surface Pro 11 and Surface Pro 10 based on Intel Core Ultra processors. Earlier this year, the software giant released a business-exclusive version of the Intel-based Surface Pro 10, as well as the Surface Laptop 6. We also know that on October 3, Microsoft will release a new Surface Keyboard with a Copilot key, which will allow you to quickly access the AI assistant companies.
