Cooler Master Will Finally Release Shark X PCs in Shark Shape – Starting at $7,000

Cooler Master is preparing to start selling the Shark X prefabricated PC, which will be offered in a very unusual case. As the name suggests, it is shaped like a shark. The company explains that the case was developed by Thai modder Inony as part of the Case Mod competition back in 2019. As part of the same competition, the Sneaker X PC was introduced in the form of a giant sneaker, which also recently went on sale.

«Shark X is more than just a high-performance PC, it is a masterpiece that combines art and technology, reflecting Cooler Master’s commitment to innovative design and engineering,” said Jimmy Sha, CEO of Cooler Master, commenting on the launch.

The Shark X case dimensions are 790 × 908 × 894 mm. It is made of plastic and steel. The case supports installation of Mini-ITX motherboards. The package includes a Cooler Master V850 SFX Gold power supply, a custom Cooler Master MasteLiquid 120 Atmos LSS, one 120 mm CM Sickleflow fan and a PCI-E 4.0 x16 riser adapter. The case supports installation of video cards with dimensions up to 304 × 137 × 61 mm.

Apparently, it will not be possible to purchase the case separately. The company will sell it as part of a gaming build. It includes a 20-core Intel Core i7-14700F processor with a frequency of up to 5.4 GHz, a B760I DDR5 WIFI motherboard from an unnamed manufacturer, a GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super video card with 16 GB of memory, 64 GB of RAM in the form of two DDR5-6000 modules 32 GB each, as well as a 2 TB NVMe solid-state drive. The Windows 11 Home operating system will be pre-installed on your computer.

In this configuration, the Shark X PC is priced by Cooler Master at $6,999.99. The new product is already available for pre-order through the manufacturer’s official website. Of course, you can assemble a computer with this configuration yourself much cheaper, but without such a unique case.
