Although Richard Yu did not reveal Huawei’s plans in full, knowledgeable sources suggested that on September 10 the company will introduce a production version of the smartphone, which folds in two places. In addition, the flagship Mate 70 Pro may debut in the smartphone segment, which will receive a new chip and an improved camera with support for artificial intelligence.

In the second quarter, Huawei managed to oust Apple from the top five largest smartphone suppliers for the first time, and spring discounts, unprecedented for American brand products, made it clear that the struggle for Chinese buyers between the two giants was serious. At the September event, Huawei may also present a new electric car of the Aito brand, which it is promoting together with the Seres company, which is engaged in the actual production of these vehicles.
