Following the announcement of the Realme 13 Pro and Realme 13 Pro+ smartphones in July, as well as the presentation of the base Realme 13 model in August, Realme introduced two more smartphones in this family – devices called Realme 13 5G and Realme 13+ 5G.
Realme 13+ 5G is the world’s first smartphone to receive the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset, which is manufactured using a 4nm process technology and includes four Cortex-A78 cores with a frequency of up to 2.5 GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores with a frequency of up to 2.0 GHz. The chipset also features a Mali-G615 GPU with improved power management and a dedicated neural MediaTek NPU 655 chip. A cooling system with a 6050 mm2 stainless steel vapor chamber is used to dissipate heat from the components.
Realme 13+ 5G features a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2000 cd/m2 peak brightness. On the back panel there is a 50-megapixel main camera with a Sony LYT-600 sensor and an 8-megapixel wide-angle module. The front camera resolution is 16 megapixels.
The power source is a 5000 mAh battery with support for 80 W fast charging. The device runs Android 14 with Realme UI. The smartphone is available in Victory Gold, Speed Green and Dark Purple.
The price of the Realme 13+ 5G smartphone starts at $275 for the version with 8/128 GB of memory.
In turn, the Realme 13 5G smartphone is based on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip along with 8 GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of 128/256 GB, which can be expanded using a microSD card. This model also has a stainless steel evaporation chamber for more efficient cooling.
To control the device, Android 14 OS with Realme UI interface is used. The company promised to release two major Android OS updates in the future and support security patch updates for three years. The 5000 mAh battery supports 45 W fast charging. The price of Realme 13 5G will be $215 for the version with 8/128 GB of memory. The cost of the version with 8/256 GB is $240.
Both smartphones will go on sale on September 6.
